With experience in real estate marketing of more than 16 years selling both residential and lifestyle properties in the Bethlehem, Te Puna, Omokoroa, and Kaimai areas of Tauranga, Paul and Heather Norrish decided that their "apprenticeship" had been served and it was time to establish their own company.
After 2 years of further university study and extensive research and planning, their new company – Norrish Property Consultants Ltd – was launched.
The company was incorporated, the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand agent's license was granted, equipment purchased, signs and stationery designed and printed, and support staff recruited.
Building on their own marketing and administrative skills they handpicked and developed a small highly professional team of consultants backed up by another team of competent support staff.
Over the years the company’s reputation has grown significantly and today Norrish Realty is recognised as one of Tauranga’s leading boutique real estate companies. Because the company is completely independent and New Zealand owned and operated the team at Norrish is not limited by the usual constraints of franchised companies and all revenue derived from the business is invested directly back into the local economy.
Paul and Heather subscribe to the value that "people matter most" and from their own experience have discovered that when this principle is embraced as an operational business ethic "it's rewarding for everyone". The whole team at Norrish embrace the same ethical values and commitments.
